George of the Jungle is a Canadian–American animated television series. It is the reboot of the 1967 animated series of the same name, using Flash animation. It is produced in Canada, airing there on Teletoon. The remake mostly stays true to the original production, with a few key differences existing between the two. When George is paddling down a river, going to save his ape-friend, who was abducted, we can see, on the left side of George's boat a stream of water that comes from the camera towards George's boat. Each of the cartoons ended with a strike on the Tympani (Kettledrum), which changed to an ascending tone, following a bad pun. Unlike previous Ward series, the animation production was done in Hollywood using veteran animators,, and, among others.
