Hi Gary, The location of this file is different for almost every version of Outlook and it sometimes also depends on which language of Outlook you have installed and even if you have it installed on a 32-bit version of Windows or 64-bit version of Windows. Hi.I know this thread is pretty old but I am hoping you will still see this. I too thought my laptop was missing the scanpst file but after reading your response I was able to locate it in a different folder that even the rep I chatted with yesterday from Microsoft was not able to. So I located the file but now it is asking me what file do I want to run the scan on. My issue is that I suddenly cannot open Outlook unless in safe mode, I get the error message that the set of folders cannot be opened. Can you please tell me what file I would run to repair this issue?
